City Of Dunedin issued the following announcement on Nov. 11.
Happy Veterans Day! Join our local Veterans today at 11 a.m., at Edgewater Park, for a patriotic ceremony honoring all the men and women who have served our country in the name of freedom. After the ceremony, all are invited to the VFW Post 2550 for food, drinks, musical performances and special guest speakers. Dunedin Cares Food Pantry will be at Edgewater Park collecting food donations if you would like to contribute and donate food items.
All City offices and buildings, including the Public Library, are closed in honor of #VeteransDay. There will be no changes to curbside garbage and recycling pick-up.
