Calvary Christian High School is seeking a teacher for digital art to begin for the 2022-23 school year. The ideal candidate will love teaching high school students and be eager to grow as a professional educator. Previous training or experience in digital design and the ability to teach both introductory level and advanced level high school digital design courses would be ideal.  Additionally, training and experience in traditional art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, etc. with the ability to teach those skills in an introductory level course would be perfect for this position in our Fine Arts Department.

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Art, Art Education, Digital Art, Graphic Design, or related field

Specialized Experience and/or Skills:

Experience in Digital Design, Animation, 3D Modeling and the ability to teach high school courses in these areas at introductory and advanced levels.  

Ability to effectively use technology to create art.

Experience in traditional art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, etc. and the ability to teach high school courses in these areas at an introductory level.  

Experience in art gallery preparation and the ability to install art pieces and curate art exhibitions.

CCHS is an iPad 1-to-1 school, emphasizing the use of instructional technology and digital curriculum at every level, and teachers enjoy using some of the latest technology available to deliver effective instruction
