Indian Rocks Christian School issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Buttons were flying today in Mrs. Stoddard’s K4 class!
They spent the morning building button launchers from Play-Doh, popsicle sticks, and plastic spoons. It all started with Pete the Cat and His Groovy Buttons where they learned pre-reading, math, and problem solving skills.
This is just one of the ways that we combine hands on STEM activities in conjunction with Biblical instruction. In the story, the children learned to find JOY in any situation, especially ones where we can’t find our buttons.
