Rising home prices in Dunedin in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Dunedin rose by $52,500 while total sales increased by 6.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 114 homes sold, with a median sale price of $292,500 - a 21.9% increase over the $240,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 107 homes sold in Dunedin in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dunedin for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,886, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
