City of Largo issued the following announcement.
The City of Largo is bringing back free Treecycling December 28 through January 8. Largo Solid Waste will collect and recycle trees right from your front yard. Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights and stands from your tree and place it by your curb on your regularly scheduled recycling day by 7am.
Trees must not be placed under power lines or within three feet of trash and recycling carts, as well as mailboxes, stormdrains, cars or any other object. In order to be collected trees should not be in bags, carts or any other object. Trees should be loose, do not use bags or trash cans. Trees that are over 6 feet should be cut in half.
