City of Pensacola issued the following announcement.
The City of Pensacola and Escambia County are encouraging all residents to complete the 2020 Census to ensure everyone in the community is accurately counted. The deadline to complete your 2020 Census is quickly approaching, with collection closing on Sept. 30, 2020. The 2020 Census will end field data collection and close self-response options on that date to allow time for data processing.

The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities including Escambia County and the City of Pensacola every year for the next decade. That funding shapes many different aspects of every community throughout the U.S., from highway planning and public transit to educational programs and housing assistance.
