Clearwater home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Clearwater rose by $10,250 while total sales decreased by 82.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 172 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,250 - a 5.4% increase over the $190,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 982 homes sold in Clearwater in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Clearwater for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,790, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
