On Saturday, March 1, former Calvary Christian High School standout Payton Cushman’s current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the George Mason Patriots.

The game took place at UCF Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field against Maryland Terrapins.
