On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Calvary Christian High School standout Payton Cushman’s current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.
The game took place at Eagle Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Grizzlies this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3:15 p.m. at Eagle Field against Campbell Fighting Lady Camels.
