On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Calvary Christian High School standout Ava Planeta’s current college team, the Eckerd Tritons, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Nova Southeastern Sharks.
The game took place at NSU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Sharks this season.
The Tritons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Turley Athletic Complex against Lynn Fighting Knights.
